A Positive. . .
Another week is gone, and the weekend is ahead, and no matter how good Monday-Friday was, it’s always a welcome relief when it’s over. I think we’re programmed into living our days by that of the week’s, or at least, I am. I keep thinking that we spend our time wishing it away for the next days off, or the next planned event, but we really should slow down and appreciate each day for what it is.
This week has been great. We spent Sunday-Wednesday in Salt Lake City filming new content and taking care of appointments that MtnMan had with the Huntsman Institute. While we were there, I also was able to buy a couple pairs of new glasses, which is always nice, I guess. I mean, I hate change and if you know me at all, you know that I don’t like it. I’m not sure why that is, but I’ve always been like that and I plan to always be one of no change. At any rate, it is time for new frames, so I already had a list of 6 pairs I wanted to try on, and it didn’t take long to narrow it down to the two pairs that I wanted. I was in and out in 30 minutes! Now that is my kind of shopping.
Once back home, we picked up Abby, visited with the SIL and was unpacked by 630 and on the couch reading a new book until bedtime. That was a great way to end our time away, and to prepare to return to our routine on Thursday. It doesn’t matter how much time you take off, it’s still hard to get back into the schedule. Why is that?
Now that I’ve shared my week with you, what is one positive from your week?
