The Morning Moon

We are on our way to Twin Falls, leaving our house at 430a and as we drive over the mountains and through the valleys, the morning moon is following us. It’s a beautiful sight that normally is lost while we sleep. This morning, however, I’m taking it all in, with autumn clouds and skies that are slowly waking up, the moon is shining bright and beautiful. Experiencing the world coming to life is breathtaking and I’m glad that I am awake to witness it. Abby, on the other hand, has been sleeping in between hugs. She did wake up long enough to ride through town with her head out the window, with the heat on full blast because I am still a wuss and 30 degrees is damn cold when it’s blowing 35 mph into the cab of the truck. As soon as we hit the highway she was curled up and ready to go back to bed…

I hope that you have a wonderful day!

I used to love that quiet time right before the sun came up. The world always seemed fresh and innocent in those few hours before the chaos began.

yes! I agree. One reason I enjoy our Wednesday’s and Sunday’s is because we usually leave the house between 3-4a and we see the world waking up. It’s breathtaking.
