Throwback: A Serendipitous Encounter by the Arkansas Riverbanks

There’s something about the South that captures the heart and imagination. On a business trip to Arkansas, I found myself with the luxury of a couple of unscheduled days. With nothing but time and an adventurous spirit, I hit the road, eager to discover what the Natural State had to offer.

The journey took me down winding roads, through dense forests, and finally to the edge of a river that whispered tales of tranquility and seclusion. It was one of those rare spots where the world seems to stand still, and the only agenda is set by nature’s rhythm. The river, with its clear water and gentle currents, was a siren call to anyone seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

In this serene setting, I decided to jump at the opportunity to take photos- “Outside by the Water”. It was a year into my online presence, and this shoot felt like a natural evolution of my work, a testament to the joy of embracing each new day and the opportunities it brings.

Sometimes, it’s the unplanned moments that lead to the most memorable experiences. This chance encounter by the river was a welcome reminder to appreciate the beauty in unexpected places.

If you ever have a chance to visit Arkansas, I strongly urge you to take a couple days and explore the breathtaking beauty this state holds.
