A Tail-Wagging Thank You to Nick

If you’ve been following along on my adventures with the little golden fluff ball, you know that Whiskey Willow, our 10-week-old golden retriever, has been keeping me on my toes. At this age, she’s a whirlwind of energy—chasing her tail, exploring every corner of the house, and yes, teething like there’s no tomorrow. Those tiny puppy teeth are no joke; she’s been gnawing on my fingers and eating a lot of frozen carrots. It’s adorable, but let’s be real, it also means I need all the help I can get to keep her happy, stimulated, and out of mischief.

That’s why I was happy when a package arrived from Nick! Inside were the perfect gifts for my teething terror: a sturdy Kong toy and a big bag of teething chews. Talk about spot-on timing. Whiskey Willow took to them immediately—stuffing treats into that Kong has become her new favorite puzzle, and it buys me precious moments of peace while she works on figuring it out. The chews? They’re a godsend for redirecting those sharp little chompers away from my belongings. She’s been chomping away happily, and I can already see how they’re helping soothe her gums during this tough teething phase. Poor kid.
