Brain Dump

Gloomy days are better than sunshine. Rain is life, and snow is nice. Sun is extreme, but needed in the spring, so a couple months out of 12 would be bearable; let’s go ahead and cancel summer. Ha!

Elephant rides should be banned and zoo’s cancelled. Yes, at one time zoo’s were educational, but have you been to one lately? They are prison cells and it’s sad. However, sanctuaries and rescues, such as the Elephant Sanctuary in TN, are healthy and more educational than any zoo could be. 

Goldens are the best. If you don’t have a furry kid, you need a golden in your life. (Dale, Freeway would not appreciate one, but a golden ball of happiness would love her, much to her chagrin.)

Don’t go through life being a dick. No one likes a dick.

If you use your disability to garner freebies, no matter the platform, whether online or not, that says more about you than you realize. So stop. 

If you wouldn’t say “that” in a bar, for fear of being bitch slapped, don’t say it online. Don’t be a bitch. Ha! 

Attitude is everything. 

Nevada is one of the most beautiful states I’ve experienced. It is true, there is beauty everywhere you look, but most think Nevada only has sage brush and Vegas. There is a lot of sage brush, but also natural springs that pop out of mountains, and in the middle of valleys, with tall trees and willows so thick you cannot walk thru them. The canyons are deep; the mountains are rugged and steep. To make it to the top, the views are as far as the eye can see. The sunrises are gorgeous and the sunsets are breathtaking. I’ve never experienced anything like the Nevada skies. 

I don’t miss Texas, but I do miss a handful of friends that became my people. 

Being an aunt is awesome, but being a great aunt is even better!

Sometimes I wonder why “they” made math so difficult. Seriously, it’s stupid how it hurts my brain. Ha!

I cannot say the word absurd. No matter how many times someone sounds it out for me, I cannot wrap my brain around it. It’s truly absurd.
