20 Years Ago Today: My First Site Went LIVE – A Journey I’m Forever Grateful For
Can you believe it’s been 20 years since my very first site launched? Looking back, those early days feel like a lifetime ago – and in many ways, they shaped the life I love today.
In the beginning, I was dipping my toes in with mostly pictures and a handful of those super awkward videos. I was figuring it all out, one pixelated upload at a time. A few months in, another lady in the industry pulled me aside and suggested I give camming a shot. Back then, it was the wild, wild west – super archaic tech, endless trial and error, and honestly, I never thought it’d stick.
The flexibility remains unparalleled. Being my own boss means I’m in complete control of my schedule, my boundaries, and yes, my earning potential. There’s a powerful independence in deciding exactly how much energy to invest and being directly rewarded for that labor. But beyond the logistics and the income, this career has gifted me something far more valuable—a community.
Through the glow of countless webcams and late-night private sessions, I’ve forged friendships that have spanned decades. I’ve developed normal, meaningful relationships with many of you that transcend the transactional nature of this business. You’ve become confidants, cheerleaders, and constants in my life. That depth of human connection is something the younger version of me, uploading those first grainy photos, could never have imagined.
Over the years, I’ve managed to integrate my original site with my camming presence while maintaining distinct identities for each. It’s a delicate dance that allows me to honor my roots—the photo sets and pre-recorded content that started it all while embracing the spontaneity and intimacy of live performance. Both platforms serve different appetites, and I’ve learned to nourish each without letting them consume one another.
