Turquoise Silk
A couple of you asked me to update the wishlist and I’ve had a hard time finding something I need. That’s because you guys have been so generous over the last couple years, that I really don’t have anything I need… so, I found a few items I just want, including socks. lol. The McDonald Observatory
We spent most of our day in the Ft. Davis area, specifically at the McDonald Observatory. It’s in the middle of nowhere, on a 2-lane road that winds up a steep mountain. There’s tons of historical markers along the way to pay homage to settlers long forgotten, and a few that are well known to the west Texas area. There are a lot of recognition for the CCC from the depression era, also known as the Civilian Conservation Corps. Tuesday Date Night Postponed
Tonight I’m going to be gazing at the stars through a gigantic telescope at the McDonald Observatory. I love the vast, open spaces of west Texas. I’ll do my best to tweet, but it all depends on cell reception. I will be doing 4- one hour shows next week, so enjoy this break and clear your schedule next week. lol. NO VNA Show Tonight

An Abundance of Surprises!
I’m always surprised as to the effort you all go through to make the annual party. A few of you fly in from other states, several of you drive hours from other parts of Texas and a couple of you are local. No matter the distance, you guys bring gifts. MtnMan75- you made summer sausage from antelope and deer that you hunted. That is amazing! As if that wasn’t enough, you brought Amps, Goldfish, Twizzlers and Butterfinger goodies. WOW! Birthday Bash 2015
Each year we’re amazed at the support and amazing turnout we have for the annual party, that has turned into more than just birthday celebrations. It gives us all a chance to come together over food and have some crazy fun for one night. When we first started, it was a one night event. You guys showed up at party time, leaving a few hours later, and asking for us to do it the following year. I have a question for those of you who are big into protein shakes, and whatnot. I make my own, but want to know if there’s something pre-made that would be a good substitute. I add blueberries/strawberries, banana’s, protein powder and a drop of apple cider vinegar.

About My Belly Button “Issues”
