Today is a Good Day for a Birthday!

A Package of Socks Makes Me Smile
Stephen! You surprised me with a large package of socks, thank you! They are all kinds of polkadotted fun! I cannot wait to wash them and start wearing them throughout the weeks to come. This came at a perfect time because I’ve had to throw several pairs away due to holes in the soles, which was a huge bummer, but I’m sure to find some new favorites in this bundle.

VNA Rescheduled and Out of Town Dates
So yeah, we’re taking another extended break from life and going to South Carolina next week. We fly out on the early flight, Tuesday which means we’ll drive to Salt Lake City Monday afternoon. We’re going with a group of friends, which will be a great week along the coastline, enjoying some sunshine and cocktails! Destinations
What has been your most favorite destination, and why? I’d love to see a picture, if you care to share, or a brief history of the area. I’ll share mine: Great Falls National Park: it’s everything and more than what any picture I had ever seen. This is a place that I have wanted to experience since I was a kid, reading history and looking at magazine pictures. Celebrating 16 Years Online!
It is true, I love celebrating other people’s birthdays and celebrations, much more than I do mine. It’s the way I have always been. In fact, I’ll celebrate my twin’s anniversary of our birth before I’ll even acknowledge that it’s also mine. I have quirks and that’s probably one of them. lol. Abby, the Mopey Golden
I have been a constant in Abby’s world, since I work from home. She does not always hang out in the cam room, but she checks on me throughout every day. What Are You Currently Reading?
I’m curious, what are you currently reading? I’m always interested in new subjects, but don’t always make time to read anything out of my usual genre of WWII. I’ve got a stack of books still waiting to be read, and all of them are regarding the world war. Some are written by soldiers, while others are by war historians. I find that, while I do enjoy the perspective of those that lived through it, reading books by writers are sometimes easier to follow. However, I’ve started reading more autobiographies than those written by someone that has extensively studied the subject and become somewhat of an expert. Last month I decided…
