Last week I received a card in the mail from Dawn Marie, which is not unusual. She is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known. She sends cards to say “thank you” for thinking about her, being thoughtful, for checking in, and for special days. She even sends cards after staying with us for a few days. What I am getting at is that it was not surprising when I received a card in the mail from her, however, I have been a terrible friend lately.
