What. The. Fuck.
I am always on the computer since I am online most days, but I have dropped the ball, yet again, with this whole blog-thing. Jesus! Okay, so the holiday’s are LONG over and we are moving on, never hearing “happy new year” until next January. lol. We had a few cold days after a very warm December, and then it turned back to a warm 60 for a couple days before a wind storm blew through last night with 40 degree temps. Yesterday I was in a tank and today I had a stocking cap, ear muffs, gloves and two sweatshirts. It is freezing compared to yesterday! Wednesday we started…

Hello New Year!
G’bye 2015 and hello to the new year! It has been an amazing year, wouldn’t you say? Granted, there were some ups and downs for some of you, which I consider to be my lows, but the highs were amazing, all the same. For those of you that have been with me for years, I thank you, and for those who have only just found me, I look forward to the next eight! Without you, I would not be here to celebrate on the world wide web. It is incredible to realize what a community you guys have created here, and I am shocked almost daily at the friendships that…

Thursday & Friday – This Week
I have had to cancel a lot of shows here lately and I am hoping the new year brings back a dependable routine. I only function on routine and the chaos and spontaneous interruptions is not working for me. Last week was due to Christmas, which unfortunately could not be avoided, and this week has been subject to faulty internet connections. However, it seems to be stable again and I am going to go ahead and plan for the make up shows, in hopes nothing changes between now and then. Thursday – 11p EST (Streamate) Friday – 10p EST (Streamate) and 11p EST (VNA)

Red!
I enjoyed dinner last week, even if it was quick and never mentioned afterwards. It always means a lot that you take the time out of your very busy schedule to drive an hour, one way, to meet me at a local restaurant. Not only are you great company, but you always bring a care package! Now, last night you mentioned that you are terrible at gift giving, so you always give food. We need to discuss that poor attitude of yours, regarding your thoughtfulness. First of all, a gift is many things. It is your time, your care packages that sometimes includes socks and it is most certainly food…

Outlaw!
I woke up to an amazing surprise from you, on Christmas. It was an email to let me know I have an Amazon GC waiting for me and now I just need to decide what to use it for. I might use it for the boots that is on my wishlist, or a rain chain for the deck… Decision, decisions! You have always been thoughtful and giving, thank you!

MtnMan!
I received a few packages from you, all of which were a great surprise in a very busy week for me. I love the blue knit sweater and the purple top. In fact, I have already worn the blue sweater and had several compliments because of it. The earrings are a pair I have been wanting for awhile, which was a fantastic gift! My g’ma had a Sworovski Crystal Necklace that dates back pre-WWII and it is safely nestled in my jewelry box. It is classy and one of my favorite necklaces that I don’t wear as often as I used to, because it is getting old and more delicate.…

Hedo!
You are always generous, even when you are in the middle of a huge move, with overwhelming expenses. Thank you! The grey top is perfect and I will wear it many times this season and probably for years to come. It is light for cooler weather, but also thick enough for cold days. The sweater dress will be a new favorite, because I love, love, love wearing them when it is freezing out. That way I don’t have to lug around a big jacket… and I can wear leggings with them and not be sweating!

Rodney!
You guys continue to amaze me with your abundance of generosity. With the holidays came a week of packages and each one means more to me than you know. I received thigh high socks and earrings from Rodney. Thank you!!!

You Are Going to Love This!
It has been a very busy and unusually chaotic holiday week for us, which is a bit disappointing. However, we are at the end of it and I am looking forward to January 2nd. Today, the day after Christmas, we had to drive into Austin to pick up our vehicle that was in the shop for more warranty work. Devil was planning on stopping at the grocery store on the way home, but instead found his way to the Apple Store. By the time he made it home I had the house clean and ready for tonights company. He walks in, with two iPad Minis and no groceries. He said,…

This Holiday Season . . .
I have never been a fan of the holiday’s, even as a kid. For Mom’s sake, I always tried and for my twin brother I lied, just to save the peace. I don’t know why, but the holiday’s are a drag for me, although, I have really made an effort in recent years, to enjoy the hubbub that comes along with the chaos of it all. However, we did not put up a tree this year. lol. That is not all on me, I just want you to know that. We simply do not have the room for such an amazing spectacle that brings a lot of unnecessary work. haha.…
