I have had to cancel a lot of shows here lately and I am hoping the new year brings back a dependable routine. I only function on routine and the chaos and spontaneous interruptions is not working for me. Last week was due to Christmas, which unfortunately could not be avoided, and this week has been subject to faulty internet connections. However, it seems to be stable again and I am going to go ahead and plan for the make up shows, in hopes nothing changes between now and then. I enjoyed dinner last week, even if it was quick and never mentioned afterwards. It always means a lot that you take the time out of your very busy schedule to drive an hour, one way, to meet me at a local restaurant. It has been a very busy and unusually chaotic holiday week for us, which is a bit disappointing. However, we are at the end of it and I am looking forward to January 2nd. Today, the day after Christmas, we had to drive into Austin to pick up our vehicle that was in the shop for more warranty work. I have never been a fan of the holiday’s, even as a kid. For Mom’s sake, I always tried and for my twin brother I lied, just to save the peace. I don’t know why, but the holiday’s are a drag for me, although, I have really made an effort in recent years, to enjoy the hubbub that comes along with the chaos of it all.
