    Let’s Give Her a Name

Several months ago I posted about the grey kitten that found its way into the Monster’s world. I was hoping she’d move on, but to my dismay she has claimed this as her home. In the beginning she would run for safety any time I walked outside, or she’d stand on a rock, which became her lookout perch, until she was certain no person was on the deck where the food bowl was. It didn’t take her long to start playing with the Monster’s. They don’t mind her one bit, which is when I decided I shouldn’t be bothered feeding another  mouth. If they’ve accepted her, I can, too. She…

    Progress Has Been Made

Last week I spent all of my spare time on the kitchen, which left me know time for anything else. I’m very happy with the kitchen, but it has left me exhausted, to say the least. I still have a few odds and ends to complete before it’s finished, but that will all come together in the next week, or so. Now to catch up on this blog I’ve shamefully neglected. What to talk about? Um. Well. How about the Blood Moon? Did you wake up just to experience it in its grandeur, or maybe you were on your way to work and it brightened your day, just a little…

    *Cheers* Happy Birthday, Dwwindsor!

I would like to lift my glass to you, sir. Happy Birthday! I know you’re traveling and have been under the weather and in no mood to celebrate, but I hope that changes today! It’s a day that should absolutely be celebrated! I hope that whatever you choose to do, that you enjoy it and it  makes you smile… and that does not mean working, taking phone calls and hiding out in your hotel room. That’s for yesterday and tomorrow, not today! Happy Birthday, Dwwindsor!!!

    WLTNBN: A Reason to Celebrate

WLTNBN! It’s your birthday and a damn good reason to celebrate! You’ve been so busy lately that I hope you’re going to have time to at least acknowledge your own day. It should be celebrated, I am just saying! I hope that you’re out, having drinks, eating cake or letting others lift their glasses to you. Or, all of the above, that would even make me happier! At any rate, I want to wish you a very happy birthday!

    Clueless in the US

Yesterday I learned that phone 2 phone option works for those outside of the US, too. I assumed this was a new feature, but was quickly informed that it’s always been available to everyone, not just exclusive to the United States. Wow. How uninformed am I? Don’t answer that. I had a good laugh at my lack of awareness but then wondered how I’ve gotten through seven years without anyone telling me! Each time someone asks me if I offer phone, my response is the same- “yes, as long as you’re in the US”. Not one person asked me why, or said it works for other ladies. All of this…

    Late Notice

I meant to post this yesterday, but got wrapped up in my Wednesday to-d0’s and now it’s half way through Thursday. I’ll be doing the member show tonight at 8p EST, and hope that you’ll be able to make it. I’m so sorry for the short notice!

    Tuesday is a No Show

Hey you guys! I hope you’re all having a wonderfully brilliant and successful day! Today is our 14th anniversary, and, although, we don’t always make a big deal out of it, we’re going to dinner tonight. I know you guys are going to tell me not to worry about it, but I hate cancelling on you all at the last minute. Devil has been so busy as of late, that today kind of crept up on us. We’re going to an Austin restaurant that has great ratings and everyone talks about, but I’ve never been. It’s Truluck’s in the warehouse district, which I love because it’s full of amazing history!…

    Are You Kidding Me?!?

I spent the afternoon online (lonestarangel.cammodels.com) and was looking forward to an evening cleaning house, doing laundry, blogging and watching Netflix in the living room. The other day Devil had a friend over and they some how misplaced the two remotes that works the system. It’s not a simple system, mind you. No. That would make sense. Thankfully, though, he got a remote that is intricate, but has a “dumb” button, which I often use when I’ve hit a wrong button and 5 systems turn on all at once, and the receiver starts going from TV mode to very loud music. I cleaned house tonight and thought for sure I’d find…

    Again, Really? *face palm*

I realize old habits die hard, and sometimes you fall into habits out of convenience. Sears is one habit I firmly believe Devil needs to give up. For years we’ve gone to their auto shop for new tires. It’s true we’ve always had great customer service, but that is only because there has never been an issue. He usually orders the tires the night before, then sets an appointment the next morning and he drops the vehicle off at the set time, going back a couple hours later. It’s easy. It’s convenient. I get that, I really do. I’m not one to make a stand against a business, or even…
