Farewell Perdita and Brood
In the spring of 2014 Perdita found our home and never left. She was tiny, scared and alone. I always wondered where her litter mates were, but she always remained as the sole “lost one”. The Monsters were just a year old and were new to the outdoors, exploring and curious, but also territorial. Territorial except with Perdita, who followed them around like a shadow. A Box Full of Surprises!
Kooster, Thank you for being such a sweetheart! I’ve already worn the dress and will wear it often; well into the fall season. It will most definitely be one of my favorites! It is casual, yet classy, with a side of sexy. The shorts will be great for cam, but will be worn at the beach. They are a bit short to be worn to the grocery store, but maybe I’ll wear them the next time I have to drive Devil and his Asian lady to poker. lol. The cover up is sexy and much better than what I normally wear, which is a tank and shorts.

G’morning!! There have been a lot of happenings in my world that has kept me offline for a good portion of May. We started the month in Mexico, which was an amazing experience. One that Devil keeps mentioning will become a hot spot for us. I swam with manatees and dolphins and was kissed by a sea lion! Memorial Day History Lesson and What Today Means to Me
Here is a post that I wrote several years ago, but I think it is worth a repost. It began as Decoration Day following the Civil War in 1868, when Union veterans declared it as a time for the nation to remember the dead by placing flowers on graves. For many years the Union and Confederate soldiers remembered their fallen on different days. They soon merged, and Memorial Day became a tradition to honor all Americans who died while in military service. A Manatee Hug!
While we were in Mexico I had the opportunity to swim with Manatee’s and it was everything I knew it would be! They are so gentle, sweet and adorable! They have soft bites, fat noses and lovable kisses. One of them grabbed hold of my waist and pulled me off of the platform, which gave me the perfect opportunity to really hug on her. I am continuously amazed at the generosity and thoughtfulness of those of you online. I received several surprises before I left for Mexico and have a few waiting for me when I returned home.
