Busy Day on thelonestangel.com
Tuesday was a cluster fuck of issues on Streamate, and I had no choice but to cancel the member’s show at the last minute. Unfortunately, Streamate is a crap shoot and it is hard to say whether or not it will work today, but let’s give it a good old fashioned try. There will be two member shows today and I hope you all will be able to make at least one of them, but I understand if you cannot. 8p EST 11p EST

My Daily Thanks
I am so thankful for elephants. They are gentle giants with so much love to give and nothing but amazing souls. They are what make this world magical. I am also thankful to those people who continue to fight for their freedom and demand change in order to preserve them for generations to come. I truly do want an elephant hug. I think I missed my calling, I should have been a professional elephant hugger. Don’t forget to love the elephants in your life; you may wake up one day and missing them.

A Bracelet with Meaning
When I first started wearing bracelets, I added a bundle of Alex and Ani bracelets to my wishlist, not knowing their true meaning of each one made. They are a company with positive vibes and good, strong energy. Each one holds a different meaning and value; some are even in memory of charities and life events. Now when I select a bracelet to be added to my wishlist, it is because I find a connection to the charm. It might sound materialistic, but I am a simple person. When I slip the elephant, butterflies and “Love You Like a Sister” bracelet on, I feel connected to those I hold close…

Dropping the Ball
This year has been one of utter chaos, mixed in with some changes and uncertainty that has caused me to drop the ball on a lot of things. That is not an excuse, just reality, I suppose. I feel like everything is scattered and unorganized, which leaves me somewhat numb and paralyzed at times, but I have decided to take it as it comes. At any rate, without going further into the depths of darkness, how about I get on with the reason for this post. I continue to receive surprises in the mail from so many of you that I am left speechless and very appreciative of your kindness.…

My Daily Thanks
I am so thankful for Tony, my snuggle bug. He is the biggest of all the monsters and he is the one that will let me hug on him, even when he wants to be left alone. He is the one that will eat breakfast and then jump into bed and insist on hugs. He purrs and he loves. To feel him curl up in my arms and want nothing more than to be loved makes me love him even more! I am trying to take a daily pic of me and Tony, but sometimes I fail at it..

My Daily Thanks
Today I am thankful for all of this rain that we continue to be showered with in Texas. As a life long Texan, begrudgingly so, I have experienced many weather extremes, but the worst would be our most recent drought. It was, by far, the worst Texas has experienced and surpassed the record drought of the ’50’s. That drought put in place all of the reservoirs and lakes that were built in order to survive another and it was the first time that plan was tested. Most of the lakes and all of the reservoirs were dry, and all of Texas looked ominous and resembled the desert plains of west…

My Daily Thanks
As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, I am constantly reminded of the good in this world, and in the most unusual place- my online world. You guys have given me so much more than I ever expected; you guys surprise me. Today I am thankful for you; so thank you for giving me your time, your kindness and good energy.

Halloween Says Hello November!
I am not a huge fan of Halloween, although, I do understand the fun in it, if you are 6 years old. lol. I admire those who get excited to dress in costume, but it has never been my desire. However, today means that Thanksgiving is in a few weeks and that is reason enough for me to be excited about halloween! Halloween says hello November!

The World Series 2016: DM vs. DW
The 2016 World Series is going to be historical. You have Dawn Marie rooting on the Cubbies, who hope to break their 108 year losing streak and Dwwindsor on the other side hoping his Indians can pull off the big win after a 68 year drought. The Cubs have the curse of the Billy Goat, but seriously, was it Murphy, the goat, who was kicked out of the last World Series they have been in, or just that they had insufficient players? Hmmm. The Red Sox was cursed by Babe Ruth, so maybe Murphy did put a curse on the Cubbies. At any rate, I would say the curse has…

This Week at a Glance:
This week is going to hopefully be less chaotic than most, but that is most likely a pipe dream. This much I do know, tomorrow I will be at the Elle King concert in Austin at Stubbs, which is surprisingly exciting for me. I am not a big LIVE music fan, truth be told. I could honestly do without. The sound is too loud, I cannot hear one word that is being screamed into the mic, the people are obnoxious and I really do not want to stand for every song except for three. However, my opinions are my own and most do not share in my distaste of LIVE…
