Amber, You Are a Gem
Amber, you are an absolute sweetheart and meeting you during my last trip to Texas proved you are even sweeter than I imagined. You are always so thoughtful and caring, even when you are not feeling well yourself. So, thank you for always being you! After we met you sent me a big box of surprises to begin my new life (#newbeginnings) and it was full of everything I need to start a photo album/scrapbook. Thank you! Falling Short . . .
Good lord! I have a file on my hard drive that is labeled “gifts”. It is full of pictures of thoughtful gifts that have been sent to me, and once I post a “thank you” thread, I delete the picture. That is how I never forget to show my gratitude in a blog post. Book Shelf
Goodness, you guys have really have restocked my bookshelves. I have enough books to keep me reading for a few months, thank you! Nick, I just received another book from you, and I just now realized I never “officially” thanked you for the first one! I look forward to reading them both, but the one I just picked up will be my next read. It is one that Dwwindsor suggested regarding WWII and a downed civilian airplane. I am currently reading a book on loan that was written by a survivor of Bastogne, and will probably be finished with that this weekend.
