Cleaning Up After the Holiday’s
It seems that most of us are ready to take the tree down just as soon as the gifts are open on the 25th, but we probably wait until the next day. I considered taking mine down last week, but Devil’s reaction told me that was a Grinch move. So, alas, I’ve patiently waited… and waited… and fantasized about having my studio back in shape. Socks and More!
Oh, I have socks-o-plenty, and MtnMan just sent me another box full of fuzzy, feel good, soft socks with wild colors and fun patterns! They were not even on my wishlist, he just picked them out, and they are beautifully perfect! Happy Feet! There was even a bonus pair from the company to say thanks for the order…. so, I received a bonus pair to his already amazing thoughtfulness! Bob, Thank You!
I received a surprise package a couple weeks ago from Bob, for my birthday. He’s been busy with retirement and other life issues, and still made time to send a package. What a generous and very thoughtful man! He could have just blown it off, and yet he didn’t. Thank you, Bob! I love the nightie, which fits perfectly. The necklace is classy and the candles make me smile daily.

Short Shorts and Classy Heels!
I have one pair of shorts, which is stupid considering I live in Texas. I usually wear dresses or skirts, so it does make some sense, but when sometimes shorts are a better fit, depending on what’s going on. It also should be noted that the pair of shorts has a huge rip in the front, near the button zipper. I’ve sewn the rip, patched it, patched it AND sewn it…. it continues to tear open. Nick has been absent of member shows, and quiet on Twitter, but he’s still so thoughtful and giving. He always remembers special days and makes the time to wish me the best. Nick, You Are Something Else
Nick is the reason I created an amazon wishlist; I’m sure I’ve mentioned that before. He continues to surprise me with gifts, all of which I love! I’ve been wearing the boots almost every day, since it’s been raining and we were hiking. Well, hiking as in searching for a town that was swallowed up by a lake. Socks!
It could be said that I need to reorganize my sock drawers, and maybe get a dresser just for the socks I have. It could also be said that I want more socks. There’s just something about stripes, argyles, polka dots and funny faces on my feet that make me smile! I usually don’t have an obsessive amount of any one thing. I’m a simple person. Candles and Shoes, Great Combo!
Okay, so WLTN surprised me with a candle a couple months ago when he sent me several dresses, but I forgot to mention it. However, it was such a thoughtful gesture that I’m adding it to this post. For Valentine’s Day MtnMan75 sent me several packages, none of which I was expecting. He’s always so thoughtful! I have a new pair of earrings. Those, alone, make me smile each time I wear them. Slips, Panties and Dresses
Randy has joined our group of VNA guys, along with joining my site. He’s a great fit, with a sense of humor. BONUS! Awhile back he surprised me with a pair of black panties, and we all know I love panties! A couple days later I received another surprise from Randy. This time it was a white dress. I cannot wait for the spring and summer time. Awhile later I received two more packages, both of which were from Randy.
