I realize old habits die hard, and sometimes you fall into habits out of convenience. Sears is one habit I firmly believe Devil needs to give up. For years we’ve gone to their auto shop for new tires. It’s true we’ve always had great customer service, but that is only because there has never been an issue. He usually orders the tires the night before, then sets an appointment the next morning and he drops the vehicle off at the set time, going back a couple hours later. It’s easy. It’s convenient. Last night someone asked me what part of Texas I reside in. I responded with my standard, “central Texas” response, and moved on. A few minutes later he said. “Oh, you’re an Aggie”, which is code for A&M University in College Station. If you don’t know where that’s at, no worries, I’m about to get to that. Last night the clouds finally opened up and dumped buckets of rain on central Texas. It stormed for an hour, or so, and was a heavy down pour. Along with the rain came the cooler weather. It’s 62 degrees today and it’s drizzling! I feel that today is a success, no matter what! Oh, and our water tank is getting rain water, which means we won’t have to to have it delivered next week.
