Happy August!
August is, and always has been, my least favorite month. Granted, there are birthday’s throughout the month, and I’m happy for those people, but I hate August. It’s hot, even in the mountains. It’s fucking miserably hot. Just thinking of it makes me sweat! Ack! At any rate, here we are starting a new day, a new month, and that is pretty damn awesome. Before we know it, it will be September, so enjoy each day because it will be the holiday’s soon enough. And, well, even in my new life of happiness, I still am not a holiday person. Do You Remember When?
Do you remember this game? I think it is called Labyrinth, but could be wrong. I had one as a kid, albeit, a cheap one, but I could sit in my room and play it all afternoon, and be content with the day. Another one of my self-entertainment games was Chinese Checkers. I played against myself so much that I was unbeatable when I had a component. What was a favorite game you remember?

Hmfast – I hope that you are having a wonderful day and that it is an amazing birthday, despite being stuck at the hotel, and despite you working.. do something for you and celebrate in spite of it all! Splurge, call in sick, pretend you moved when they knock on your door, or just play video games and watch youtube videos all day, ignoring the rest of the world. Oh My Heck, It is HOT
Okay, first things first. “Oh my heck” is a common term in my new homeland and I LOVE it. I don’t know why. I really don’t. But oh my heck, do I smile when I hear it or read it on a forum. Our Week at a Remote Ranch House
We are spending the week in an even more remote area of the mountains and the nearest store is 70 miles away. That sounds lovely, doesn’t it? We are going to do some relaxing, no schedules and no socializing! Granted, this year has been one of few social gatherings, but with MtnMan being in an essential business he has been going non-stop since March. It is truly crazy. So, yesterday was ice cream day, which doesn’t really do anything for me, but you know, there is a day for everything. Kind of like there is a fetish for everything. Abby and Her Happy Tail Wag
I dropped Abby off with her extended family who had the backyard sprinklers turned on for her and it took her less than 2 minutes to run through them. She didn’t even say bye to me, so it’s a good thing I hugged and gave her a few kisses before I let her know she was going somewhere.
