Ack! I hate going to the doctor’s office, but after losing my voice last night and drinking a ton of Dayquil and honey, Devil decided maybe that wasn’t enough. After sitting in the very small waiting room for 45 minutes, I finally got called back. The nurse weighed me, took my blood pressure, temperature and asked me a ton of questions. She left and a minute later the doctor was in, asking the exact same questions. Eh. Whatever. I answered them, again. Then she asked if I have allergies. I said, no, I’ve thankfully never been affected by them. She said it might be strep. I said, no, it’s not strep. I’ve…

There’s so much growth coming to my area that I’ve come to accept it, but it’s still disappointing. There’s a Target that’s going up west of my road, a Walmart that’s a few miles east of town and a huge church at the main intersection. That’s not to mention the Emergency Clinic and Jiffy Lube being built as we speak. I am currently hating, Jesus and his peeps, California and Sam Walton. I’ll be over it soon enough, but I miss the town I grew up hating and learned to love. Anyway, did I mention I hate Sam Walton and his entire fleet of assholes?

Saturday was not near as bad as I was prepared for, which made me very happy! I’m not sure what Devil’s buddy was so worried about, but she wasn’t at all what he prepared us for. I’m sure she has her hangups, as we all do, but she fit in with Devil and our Asian neighbor just fine! They were two hours late, but we started the wine tour without them and then swung back by the house to pick them up. I was a bit worried about how that was going to go, since they’d be starting sober while the other six had already been to a couple wineries…

Good lord! I appreciate the beauty of a full moon, especially when it’s red, or on the special occasion it’s actually blue. However, I am starting to hate full moon days/nights spent on cam! The crazies are out in full force and it is all about them spreading their douche baggery. In fact, it’s contagious. I’m just thankful that my fella’s aren’t affected, too much, by the epidemic spread of such a disease, or else I’d be non-existent online several days each month… Hell, I’d probably go underground for the entire week of the full moon! We have a friend who is making the drive out to the hill country, and he’s bringing his girlfriend. One we have never met… they come and go with him, and each time we’re given a list of do’s-and-do-not’s. The last one was 20 years younger and acted like a child with a whole lot of crazy going on in her head. That was fun. Tomorrow I’m driving them around to wineries and going to possibly start doing drugs of some sort, or find a corner and cry myself silly. Hopefully I’ll find drugs because crying has never been my go to response to anything. Maybe I should try it,…
