New Year’s Resolutions
Making resolutions. It’s a thing. A lot of people make them. I will admit, when I was younger, I made that resolution list. Hell, what did I have to lose? I was going to start the new year with a newfound attitude and new aspirations! I don’t think my list was unreasonable, but let’s be honest, if they were that important, I wouldn’t wait until January 1st. If you’re wondering, I did not succeed in any of my resolutions except for one. Stop Smoking. All others lasted until I became too busy to remember them. Ha! Let’s hear it. Happy New Beginnings!
It is that time of year where everyone says “happy new year!”, and some even go as far as making resolutions. With the way 2020 turned out, I feel as though we should look ahead as though it is a chance at a new beginning, and in a way it really is. We all have that uncertainty ahead of us, but we are in it together and as much as you are probably tired of hear that, it really is the truth. So, allow me to wish you a very “happy new beginning!”. New Year, New Plans
There was a time when a new year always gave me a renewed sense of change and ideas, but I have sense realized that it does not need to be a specific date to make a change. Resolutions are good to be made, but only if it is something that you are ready to fulfill, or else they will be broken shortly after they are set. For me I think that it is healthy to maintain goals and to make them throughout the year, so no New Years Resolutions for me. What about for you?
