Big Red – It Wets the Whistle
I have never been a soda pop drinker. It’s the carbonation; I don’t like it. I’ve tried Dr. Pepper, Coke, Pepsi (blech!), Sprite, 7Up, MtnDew and a few others. It doesn’t matter the flavor, I don’t like it. However, I’ve always enjoyed a Big Red, which is available only in the Lone Star State; it’s a Texas “thing”, much like Blue Bell Ice Cream. October in the Rear View Mirror
Oh goodness, October was a cluster fuck of travel and visiting family, but what an amazing month it was! I started the month off by visiting my family in the midwest, and it was an amazing visit. My second trip to see them this year and I plan on making a habit to visit them at least once a year. I haven’t always been close to family, but as I’ve gotten older and found happiness in life, I realize it’s time.. so, it’s up to me to make certain I stay connected and have no regrets. It could be said that what I was once diligent in, I now fall short on. Not Much Notice…
G’afternoon and a very happy Monday from me to you! I hope that you had a restful weekend, and that the week has gotten off to a fantastic start. Last week was spent in Texas and away from my computer, but I still managed to spend a good part of the week doing new videos and content. I was active on Snapchat, adding vids and pics throughout my week, so join today so you don’t miss out on any of the fun. Summer Heat, Bright Future
It sounds as though this has been an extreme summer for most people, all over the world. Hell, Europe has been dry, which is rare, and they have seen high temps like much of the US. Africa had a record 124 degree day and even Alaska has been unusually warm in 2018. As much as I hate the Texas summers, I will be in Austin next week dealing with humidity and 100+ degree temps. Sunday Funday!
Sunday’s are best spent being lazy and taking a chance to slow down, and prepare for the upcoming week. It is rare that I take the day to lounge, but when I do I love for it to be Sunday. Now that I think about it, it has been a couple of years since I have made a point to spend Sunday being lazy. Maybe I need to change that… How do you like to spend your Sunday’s?
