I’ve spent all day outside, tearing up my hands and burning my back. I managed to clean up and look forward to the double feature tonight. Juneteenth
President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862, to become effective on January 1st, of the following year. He declared all slaves would be free, and no longer owned by another person. However, it had very little effect in the Confederate States, including Texas. General Gordon Granger and 2,000 troops arrived on the island of Galveston, TX on June 18th, 1865 to take custody of the state, and to emancipate all slaves. Unclaimed Gifts
I have a couple gifts that haven’t been claimed. One I received three weeks ago, and the other was just this week. I would love to know who sent them. The candle has given my studio a nice, wintry scent. It makes me happy. These panties are sexy cute, and just my style and color!
