    Happy Birthday, Earnie!

Oh goodness, sixteen years of being online, and I’ve known you for a good portion of that time. Hindsight 20/20, as they say, but I sure do wish I’d have had the foresight to jot down when you all joined my site and chose to stick around. It has been a pleasure knowing you and celebrating you with each trip around the sun. I hope that you are well, and that you know just how much you are appreciated, not just today but everyday! My wish is that you take time to enjoy this anniversary of your birthday and eat cake. A lot of cake! Happy Birthday, Earnie!

Happy Birthday to the One That Gives Red Anxiety each Monday.

I know, that is quite a long title, but it’s so fitting and I bet you all know exactly whose birthday it is. HMFast, I hope today is everything you hope it to be. You are a very giving person, for many reasons that I won’t mention here, just out of respect for your privacy, but you amaze me in your unwavering dependability. Not just work, but in your personal life. Today I wish you a day to celebrate you, and I truly hope that even though you are most likely working, that you will take a moment to acknowledge that today is a good day for a good day!…

Wow. I Have No Words. SMH

Welp, here we are at the end of July and I was going to profess my lack of blogging for the last month and I just realized I skipped two entire months. *SMH* Please accept my apologies. I realize at one time many of you would check my blog for new posts weekly, some even daily. I was much better at maintaining this page in years past, but somewhere along the way I have slipped and it is somewhat embarrassing. But, alas, to speak it is one thing, to change it is another. All I can do is try my best to add blogging back into my routine. Here’s hoping…

    Happy Holidays

I’ve been trying to get in the mood to post for days now, but eh, December. It’s tough. I believe it’s a stressful time even for those of us that don’t really celebrate it. It’s, well, it’s the holidays and there is just way too many activities that keep us all busy. Company parties, shopping, being merry, keeping it cam-room-festive. It’s just blah. Ugh. Okay, so that wasn’t at all what I intended to share with you, so allow me to start anew. Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas to those of you that believe. Christmas was a trying time in my house growing up. It wasn’t miserable, by any…

    Glacier National Park

I have had a love for Montana since I was a kid, as I am sure I have mentioned a few times before. I read a book that just captivated me with the descriptions of the mountains, the streams, snow filled winters and spring rainstorms. My imagination took off in what I could only picture as mountains of paradises. Some think of paradise as a beach with bountiful fruit trees in every yard and days filled with no worries and fishing for dinner, but for me, it’s the mountains with snowy peaks and spring fed streams with glacier lakes. In my quest to one day experience Montana, I had always…

    Wyoming and Beyond

We’ve been trying to get away for a few months now, and wasn’t sure we’d be able to until the spring, so this trip was a quick planned vacation. We knew we wanted to see more of Montana, though; I decided to send us on a big loop from Nevada across Utah and into Wyoming for the first leg. It’s been beautiful with wide open spaces, big red rock formations, over mountain passes and across the continental divide three times. The views are breathtaking, the skies are blue and clouds are white, fluffy figurines across wide open spaces. It’s refreshing to be away from the smoke filled Nevada skies for…

Red, Today is Yours (which means it’s celebration time!)

. . .so be happy and celebrate! Years ago you asked that I not make a big deal of it, or even mention it to our online community, however, a couple years ago you made mention of it in the chat room, voiding all previous requests of silence. So, today I would like to wish you a very happy birthday! I hope that you have had a beautiful day with family and friends.  What I really want to know is, how was your homemade lunch that your lady friend prepared for you? *wink* (if you’re not too sure which lady I’m referring to, let me give you a hint- not…

    Fall Days

I absolutely love the fall season, and it may very well be my favorite time. There is just something so beautiful watching the colors change, the wind blowing a cool breath and the cold nights. It is the beginning of winter soups and chili’s, and I’ve already got a list of planned stews for the upcoming months. Granted, I tend to cook soups and stews through the summer months, but I usually don’t make chili unless it’s winter time. I don’t know if that’s planned as much as it is trained from childhood. It would get so hot in Texas that no matter how cold the a/c was, no one…

    VNALive – August

I know I say this often, but I don’t think I can say it enough, I have the most amazing group of members. You guys continue to support me, no matter what network or the amount of frustrations that new software causes. You all remain loyal to me, even when I cancel a member show at the last minute. Last month I had 5 Monday’s on the VNALive network, cancelling 1 and only doing 40 minutes of another one, and you all still showed up to vote and it is only because of you that I placed second. I truly cannot thank you all enough; it is only because of…
