    Friday’s Set of Pictures

The teddy that I wore for the pictures that were released yesterday was a gift from Nick. I had to squeeze into it, and it fit snug but made me feel sexy for you. He also sent the stockings last year, but they happen to match perfectly with the teddy I received a couple months ago. Nick, you find lingerie that I would not pick out for myself and it always works. You have great taste and are always so thoughtful to send gifts and surprises from time to time. Thank you! I hope that you enjoyed the pictures and here is wishing you a wonderful weekend!

    Wishlist Requests

I continue to be amazed and surprised by the generosity of my fella’s and ladies. As the holidays quickly approach us I have had several requests to add to my wishlist. I have added a few items here and there, but there is one person who continues to look at the list and he is displeased each time. Although, he is thoughtful enough to want to send a gift, I have added to my list three different times for him, without any hint of what he wants to send as a gift. If you want to send something but nothing on my list appeals to you, be specific in asking me…

    The Animal Kingdom is Beautiful

Studies have shown that an increasing number of African Elephants are now being born tuskless. It was 4-6 percent of females who were born without tusks but now that has risen to 98 percent. They have had no choice but to adapt to a world in which they are hunted for their tusks. One can only hope that the Chinese do not dream up another magical potion that cures cancer using elephant parts. (or any animal part for that matter) The only need for ivory is on an elephant. Although this story is an amazing testimony to the power of the animal kingdom, it saddens me that they have had to…

The Story of Pea and Pod

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, in Nairobi, Kenya, flew to a village to rescue a baby elephant from a well. He was injured and near collapse when they got to him and as they were loading him on the plane for transport, two ostrich chicks were handed over as well. They flew back to the sanctuary cuddled up against the baby ele. As they grew they become inseparable of not only each other, but of the elephants. They would leave the barn in the early morning with the herd and return for the evening, only when their mammal companions turned in for the night. Eventually they rescue built a separate…

    Mystery-Thrill-Boundless

Sand dollars move with the sea. Legend has it that five doves of peace can be found within a sand dollar shell.  I have fond memories of combing the Texas beaches for sand dollars with Mom and Granny. It was peaceful and so full of promise for the future.  Kooster, thank you for the beautiful sand dollar bracelet. The message that came with it from Alex and Ani was this: Trust the process, be at peace, and know that blessings are flowing toward you. What a beautiful thought. Thank you for always being so thoughtful and good to me, Kooster. *hugs*

    CmdrGree

I just realized today is CmdrGree’s birthday and some of you met him last January for the annual party. Some of you named him Yoda, and Dawn took a few pics with him when she “borrowed” my phone for some shenanigans. lol.  Gree has been with me for many, many years, just as Outlaw, Hedo and Bubba have been. I first met him when we did a NYC bash and have had the pleasure of seeing him from time to time over the years and hope to have dinner with him next time he is in Austin….  So, please join me in wishing him a very happy birthday!

    An Ode to Outlaw

Outlaw,  I had no intentions of missing your birthday, but as we were driving through west Texas I realized I had done just that. Without cell reception I could not even tweet, much less send out word to the fella’s and ladies that it was your special day: the anniversary of your birth. I do believe that you were one of my first member’s, meaning you and I have known each other for over then years now. We have lived a decade together and that is something special all in itself, if you ask me. You have followed me from one website to another and stuck with me while I…

November is a Month Full of Thanks! (A month late)

November holds the best day of the year, and Outlaw’s birthday! Both of which makes this a month to be happy and celebrate! It is the end of summer and the beginning of fall for us in Texas and winter for you northerners. Although, if you are in OZ that means summer is in full swing and it is heating up. This time of year always makes me happy because the weather is changing, the wind is blowing and change is in the air. There is beauty in every scene, whether it is the birds flying south, the leaves blowing against the house or the clouds giving off an ominous…

    My Daily Thanks

I am thankful for the simple things in life. Hugs from Tony, who is my snuggle bug, cute elephant pictures, and flowers. Simple things make me smile like socks, which are happy, panties that match my tops, and painted toenails. And, all of November because it is not 90 degrees and Thanksgiving is near!
