Do You Know What Makes Happiness?
Socks! The fact that sock season is near makes me so overjoyed I can hardly stand my happiness! lol. No, but seriously, socks make me happy! There are stripey socks, polka dotted colors and elephants dancing on my feet! The argyles try to keep me grounded, but the kangaroo’s keep my hopping in smiles. lol. Okay, I am finished with that crazy talk, but I think everyone should have happy socks in their drawers! If you don’t have at least one pair, you should right that wrong and buy a bundle of them all at once!

Tuesday Smiles
I have loved Tuesday’s for ten years now because it is date night with my fella’s and gals. It is one day that very rarely changes and you all know how much I hate interruptions to my day, or change at all, so to have Tuesday to spend with you all makes me very happy! It gives me something to look forward to and enjoy. So, thank you all for giving me my Tuesday happiness. *hugs* If you are new to my site, join me at 8p EST for a 1 hour LIVE cam show.

A Good Reason to Smile
I walked outside to a cool, crisp breeze, and the sound of wind chimes clinking about. I looked over at Nelson’s garden to find Garfield happily laying about, taking in the morning sun and birds chirping around him. That is reason to smile and for that, I am happy. It is good to find happy in nature and animals. So much cuteness and beauty, all in one place, and right in front of you.

Sunday Happy
It is my belief that Sunday was created for the sole purpose of giving us one day of rest. This day is meant for us to be lazy and recover from the week’s craziness and prepare for tomorrow. I don’t take advantage of that philosophy very often, but I enjoy it when I am able to lounge on the couch, watching TV or staring at the ceiling with nothing of importance on my mind. Just because I do not take the opportunity to acknowledge this day of rest, does not mean that I don’t expect you to. I find great happiness in hearing about your lazy day Sunday’s! I will…

Happy First day of October!
As I mentioned in the earlier post, I love Autumn and hope that it sticks around for a few weeks, but I am going to enjoy it while I can. October marks one entire month away from August and I am certain the chance of triple digits are behind us until next spring/summer, and that is reason to be happy! In fact, I am doing the happy dance right now! On this first day of October, I am going to open the windows, turn the AC off and clean the house from top to bottom, purging along the way. I am getting rid of books, keepsakes, and maybe even a…

My Favorite Season
My most favorite season is Fall. The colors are breathtaking, the air is clean, the night breeze is crisp and summer is behind us, winter in front of us, and life is grand. It is odd that I find so much happy in the Autumn months because as a kid, that meant school was in session and as an adult it means my biggest hate is near. However, there is just something so sweet and peaceful about fall days. The dog days of summer are being shed by new colorful beauty and the windows in the house are open and I have fond memories of sitting on the porch with…

This Week in Birthday’s!
There are a few birthday’s that I have enjoyed celebrating this week, but only two that I can publicly show my excitement for. WLTNBN: I hope you had an amazing yesterday and that the cake that was made specifically for you was your favorite, and that it was a large one so that you can have cake well through the weekend! Birthday cake is delicious with wine, coffee (or, tea in your case), vodka, maybe tequila, but definitely not beer. Well, unless it is a dessert beer, but those are never any good, in my opinion. I am sorry that I wasn’t able to wake you up with birthday cheer,…

My Weekend in San Antonio
We drove to San Antonio Friday afternoon, beating most of the traffic until we were close to downtown. It was not too bad, and it was before the rain moved into the area. It was a beautiful day to take a drive because I could see the blue skies changing into an ominous grey as we drove into downtown. That evening we met friends for drinks in the hotel bar and then they joined us for dinner at a local Italian restaurant. This place was authentic and not on the riverwalk, which made me happy because I am not a big fan of that tourist trap. The river is gross,…

My Latest Music Obsession
I have always loved old rock and roll and tend to play an arrangement of artists on Spotify from the 60’s through the 80’s. Don Henley is my absolute favorite, with his “In the Heart of the Matter” being my favorite song. Rod Stewart is a very close second; I could listen to him all day and still not get tired of his voice. He has a new album that was just released a few months ago and the song “Can We Stay Home Tonight” is simply beautiful. In the last few months I have been broadening my musical tastes more than I ever thought I would. Rob turned me…

A Keurig Coffee Maker
We are in San Antonio, staying at a downtown hotel, right on the Riverwalk. I am not a fan of the three blocks of concrete that lines the river, creating a walkway for tourists to explore the gimmicks of the city that have no connections to the ethnicity that created the town. The hotel is nice enough and there is a Vietnam POW-MIA convention so there is an abundance of old people. That makes me happy just walking through the lobby. We are in SA for a Diamond Convention; I am not an attendee, if that is what you think, but Devil is the event photog and has been for…
