Going to NYC
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to visit NYC many times over the last six years. I never thought I’d be able to experience it even once, but it’s been several times, and I’m so thankful for it. There’s so much history and culture there that it just amazes me each time we’re there. The first trip was for my thirtieth birthday. Devil surprised me with a trip and a pair of Yankee tickets. It was the last year they played in Babe Ruth’s House. It was bittersweet. Love them or hate them, the stadium had tons of history. Good and bad. On that first trip we, of course, spent many nights in Times Square and even found our way to China Town. Since then, we’ve visited a couple museums, experienced taking the wrong subway ride, and ran into tons of friendly New Yorkers. That’s not to say I haven’t been run over by a few, but I’m sure they had some place important to be. LOL.
This time we’ll have one day in NYC, after Exxxotica, and I was wondering if you might have any suggestions on what I should try to experience this time. I’ve always said I’d like to take in a Broadway show, but that’s not Devil’s cup of tea, so with that in mind, let the suggestions flow..
