A Month Long Fiasco…

…coming to an end this afternoon? Devil seems to think so! Okay, so the fridge has been unplugged and pulled out into the kitchen for almost a month. If you remember, we had 3 service calls, all of which turned out to be unproductive. The last one was disappointing because they had the parts delivered to us, but the coils were damaged in shipment. So, we’ve waited another five days for them to order a new one and reschedule the service call. This morning I mentioned to Devil that I’d like to have his kitchen back in order. I hate messy chaos, but if it’s organized, I can live with it… it has not been organized for awhile now. I need order!

In the mean time, he picked up a small dorm room size fridge just so we can have a few things. Such as, 1 block of cheese, a tea pitcher, milk and 1 carton of eggs. The freezer holds one bag of ice, and that takes some maneuvering. Oh, and you can forget a stalk of celery or slab of bacon. They do not fit! We’ve been eating out more often, which is gross after awhile, and he brings home leftovers. What? In what fridge is that container going to fit? The one that works, or the one that’s decoration? lol.

So, here’s to hoping that the fridge works when our friendly repair man leaves today… along with the ice maker producing ice again! Woot! That thought, alone, puts a bounce in my step! lol.
