The Holiday’s Are Here
I hope you’re all having a great week and looking forward to the upcoming holiday’s. Well, for those of us in the U.S.A., I should say, since the only good holiday is Thanksgiving. LOL. Now I sound like the grinch that I am known for. I’ve decided that the reason the Christmas holiday’s are so terrible is because it’s full of expectations and gift giving and taking. What’s so great about Thanksgiving is that no one expects anything, except a nice, juicy turkey, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole, with a good helping of prime rib. Oh, don’t forget about the eight desserts that usually find their way to the table. YUM! Besides the food, it’s the company we keep, that makes it such an amazing day! If you’re in the United States, my hope for you is that you’ve accepted the invitation for friends to join them for dinner. Or, maybe you have a big, happy family? If that’s the case, then please make sure you’re not busy Thursday and make time to join them for dinner. If you can’t go home, then find a community center and spend it there. Even if it’s out of your comfort level. This is the day to spend it around people, not at home alone. So, you still have time to make plans. Please do that for me.
