It Is Turkey Day for Canada!

I would like to wish all of the Canucks out there, who are awesome enough to read my blog, a very happy Thanksgiving! It’s so strange that you celebrate your turkey day on the second Monday of October, instead of at the end of November. That is neither here nor there, I suppose, but who can enlighten me as to why Canada celebrates Thanksgiving. They were not a part of the Pilgrims plight with the Indians. So, why?

(Side note: I am of the opinion that President Lincoln created the “story” of the Pilgrims and Indians eating harmoniously, over a good harvested meal. Basically, we were taught a line of bullshit. However, it was a good line of bullshit, I guess, but not one that is accurate.)
