Meatloaf
As you know I have been trying to master meatloaf for a couple years now. It is not something Devil likes, so he doesn’t have the desire to make it, which is fine. It gives me something to strive for when he is out of town. After four unsuccessful and very life shattering disappointments, I swore off on ever making another meatloaf but Dawn Marie sent me a recipe for the crock pot that looked so amazing!
I cut it in half and cooked it for 3.5 hours instead of the 7 it called for. It turned out so moist and delicious that I might have three dinners tonight!
Meatloaf holds a special place in my heart, as ridiculous as that sounds. It is one of the meals Mom would make and Dad and I would get so excited we’d be sitting at the table anxiously waiting for the timer to buzz. The timer was Mom knowing when it was finished, and usually by the time she fed us, she was a little annoyed at both of us. However, she never complained, I could always read her facial expressions though… I could see through that smile. lol.
Anyway, the meatloaf was finally a success!!!

It was a great recipe; thank you for sharing it with me. Meatloaf does hold good memories for me, as ridiculous as that might sound.
