Holiday Movie
Lights and trees have already been up in many homes for a week now and December has just begun. I know several people who have already watched most of the holiday cartoon’s, and even some of the annual movies that hit the cable boxes this time of year. Granted, I realize that it is easy to stream video off of netflix, and other avenues, but satellite channels were playing movies on Thanksgiving.
I am curious, have you watched some of them already, or do you want to wait until it is closer to the 25th when not even a grinch can deny the spirit of Christmas?
My second question, and I would like an response from anyone reading this, is which movie is your favorite?
To answer my own questions, I have not watched any of them yet, but I probably will at some point. My favorite movie would be Christmas Vacation and I still laugh throughout the movie, but especially when Aunt Bethany’s cat goes BOOM under the couch and then when the squirrel jumps out of the tree. Good lord, that movie is utter fucking chaos with a lot of bad luck, but it makes me laugh out loud! My favorite cartoon would be The Grinch, of course!

The one I watch the most is Rudolph, Frosty and Santa Claus Comes to Town.
If I manage to get it I like to watch Miracle on 34th Street, the one with Maureen O’Hara

I love Rudolph and his red nose “so bright” – all the others laughed at him for being different, but I would have hugged on his neck and taken him home as mine! lol.

My all time favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas. It makes me smile and sing along every time I watch it.

Aw, that is sweet! I do not believe I have seen that movie..

It has Bing Crosby, Danny Kay, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera Ellen. It starts off with the troops putting on a Christmas show during WWII. After the war Cosby and Kaye are big time performers who run into the ladies. They find out their former commander is in financial trouble and go put on a Christmas show to help him out.

That sounds sweet and endearing.
