Real or Fake?
I have always had fake trees because Mom and my twin were allergic to everything. And, when I say everything, I mean the air around us. lol. I think the tree that we always put up was probably one they brought from Ohio in the late 60’s, but it was a classic. It was simple and not too big, and well made. Now the trees have lights built in that work the first year and then are duds the next, or the branches fall apart. At any rate, I have always bought fake trees. Now, always does not mean often. I was fine with the lights not working after the first year because the tree was functioning in that it did not fall apart when all put together.
This year, however, I think I am going to get a real tree. Actually, I know that I am. You see, I bought a tree skirt the other day, without plans of having one. I know it sounds ludicrous, but here is my reasoning —> I never go shopping unless I absolutely have to and I was in a clothing store the other day and they had a rack of tree skirts. I walked by it the first two times but then decided I should grab one so that I do not have to go back, or go without. Even if I do not put up a tree this year, I will have it for the next 10 years, maybe longer if I never use it. lol. At any rate, I have a tree chopper who is going to take me to the mountain of pine trees, or wherever it is that one goes to do such a thing.
Also, I bought an elephant.
