What is Your Favorite Holiday Song?
Stores have been playing holiday music for over a month now and radio stations since the week of Thanksgiving.
What is your favorite Christmas song and why?
Mine would be Santa Baby. It is so sweet and seductive, I love it! However, it is hard to find a good rendition of it and I usually only hear it play once each year. I do have to admit though, that is my fault because I choose not to play holiday cheer on my Spotify!

Have to say my fave would be Trans Siberia Orchestra Carol of the Bells or Mad Russians Holiday, both have a rocking spin on holiday classics.

Then you may like Mannheim Steamroller’s Carol of the Bells as well.

Wow! Both are simply amazing!

I saw mommy doing Santa Claus, OH she was such a freak. Took Santa lode on her cheek, she asked santa how she was, and he said Man-Ni Fek.

For Unto Us a Child is Born, from Handel’s Messiah (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f7jhk-IjDo)
Personent Hodie, which is likely Bavarian, from circa 1360, by way of a 1582 Finnish song book ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejJjPE_DPYA)

What a beautiful song, but to hear it from a symphony band is breathtaking!

This has been played, every Christmas, since I was a small boy. Mom told us her mother sang it to her as a child. It has been a family thing since before coming to Texas. https://youtu.be/oUb8ySdERKs

Well you did ask for a favorite Christmas song so here’s mine and apologies in advance if I offend anyone. I blame it on our upstanding British penal colony heritage.
