Gifts to Honor our Girl
The amount of support and love that I have been shown, regarding the news of our favorite golden, continues to amaze me.
I’ve also received gifts to honor our girl. I wasn’t sure if I was going to share them here, but truthfully, she was such a huge part of the online community, and I feel that each gift should be acknowledged.
I appreciate them all. Not just the thought, but the kindness shown. Thank you.
Amber – As soon as I shared Abby’s diagnosis, you had a shirt custom made for me, and it makes me smile each time I see it, and the kindness warms my heart. Thank you so much for this pajama shirt.
BD – this has been dubbed Abby’s Lily, and with the help of Kristine, it will survive. Ha! I will admit, I was intimidated so much that it sat on the counter for 3 days while I stared at it.
I soak it in water once a week, for 15 minutes, then let it drip dry on a towel… sometimes it’s every 10 days, but Kristine assures me that’s not going to kill it.
It is a beautiful reminder of Abby the Golden.
Kristine – when this came in the mail I knew it had to be from you. I wear it often, and it’s a beautiful ode to my girl.
It will be one that I travel with, for all the reasons.

TyJon – The day that I shared the heartbreaking news that we had to say goodbye, you were in your shop, creating custom pieces to honor her memory. That means more to me than you can imagine, and it is something I will always remember.
The cutting board is beautiful and I’m already using it.
The ornaments will be the first to hang on our tree this year, and every year going forward.
