One of my Favorite Days of the Year!
July 1st. What a great day to celebrate! He’s not one to get excited about birthdays or any holiday, really. However, I love celebrating birthdays!
The anniversary of a birth is something joyous. It’s another trip around the sun.
Just imagine all the beauty seen in those twelve months; 365 sunrises and sunsets were experienced, along with all the seasons of change and the weather that comes with it.
It is beautiful.
Life. It is an amazing adventure.
By now, he’s rolled his eyes at least a dozen times. I am okay with that. He is one that celebrates no birthday, but today he has no choice but to be celebrated.
Please join me in wishing MtnMan the best of birthdays. My hope is that someone surprises him at work with a cake, because I am no baker of cakes. Ha!
Happy birthday babe. I know, “pshaw” and all that goes with it. I hope you get some cake, and if you do, bring a slice home for me… to share with you. Ha!
