Over Sold the Gloom

Saturday was not near as bad as I was prepared for, which made me very happy! I’m not sure what Devil’s buddy was so worried about, but she wasn’t at all what he prepared us for. I’m sure she has her hangups, as we all do, but she fit in with Devil and our Asian neighbor just fine! They were two hours late, but we started the wine tour without them and then swung back by the house to pick them up. I was a bit worried about how that was going to go, since they’d be starting sober while the other six had already been to a couple wineries and had a whole lot of drinking behind them, but it was great. She did get a bit jealous when the guys were joking about other women, but she kept it to herself, which I very much appreciated, and she even enjoyed Devil’s antics.. which is a mess when he’s having a good time.
