What I Love About Rainy Days

Rain makes me happy! I love to look out the window and see the ground saturated and muddy. Weird? Maybe, but I look forward to the lush gardens and bright colors that are to come because of nasty days like today. I also love to see the paths made through our yard because of a heavy rainfall. Nature is a fascinating beast and it’s good to see rainfall blanket most of Texas, once again. We are far from being out of the drought, but we had a wet winter and had some rain through the spring, and now into May. They predict a hot and dry summer for us, but I hope this is a sign that the farmers can be wrong sometimes, just like the weatherman. lol.

Another good thing about rainy days is there really is no need to mop the floors. lol.
